How much do you know about dolphins?
Are you passionate about the most fun aquatic mammal of the Mexican Caribbean?
We invite you to visit our Dolphinaris parks, so that together, we can learn the fascinating details of our friends, the dolphins.
At Dolphinaris, we have a wide variety of activities for the whole family. But to have an unforgettable experience, we have to count on the support of the trainers and of course, the stars of the show, the playful and intelligent dolphins. The dolphins are waiting for you to play and have a great time.
To make this possible, our Cancun and Mayan Riviera staff closely observe these cetaceans’ behaviors. This allows the staff to develop the proper curriculum needed to instruct the dolphins according to their needs. This ensures that they develop the aquatic skills necessary to interact with our guests.
Dolphinaris plays an active role in the protection of this species. Part of our purpose is to raise awareness and educate our visitors via dolphin contact and interaction.
We know that these mammals need us to survive. It is up to these specialists to nurture and provide the best care possible for these animals. How do we do that? The first thing that we teach the dolphins is to go to the doctor. In a gradual step-by-step process, we familiarize our aquatic friends with medical evaluations. They soon learn to give us biological signals that help us monitor their health.
So, what have we learned so far? These dolphins, under the care of humans, improve their overall development. Thanks to the research projects carried out at Dolphinaris, the staff knows exactly how to properly care for these majestic marine mammals. The work is never done, however. Dolphinaris is always striving to stay ahead of the curve to continue helping and developing these friendly creatures.
Did you know that Dolphinaris has a program that facilitates the breeding of dolphins?
Today we are proud to say that 55% of our population of dolphins was born in our facilities. Every birth was supervised by the specialists who help, care and cater to our marine friends.
Come and meet our sea buddies, the dolphins. Be prepared to enter their welcoming aquatic environment and the surrounding Caribbean Sea.
We’ll be waiting for you!
